The Benelli TRE 1130 K offers a perfect mix between comfort, practicality and sportiness. For 2013, the Benelli Tre-K 1130 comes in a new colour combination on a white base, in addition to the well old combination of grey and silver. The technical details have remained unchanged and the bike continues to be powered by the same 1131 cm³ engine rated at 92 kW @ 9000 rpm and 112 Nm of torque at 5000 rpm.

The Benelli TRE 1130 K is built on a strong steel frame with trellis structure and aluminium alloy cast plates. The front wheel is kept in check by a Marzocchi gold anodized fork with large diameter (50 mm) sleeves. It’s worthy of being mentioned that the front fork is also fully adjustable in compression, rebound and spring preload.

Out back you’ll find a mono shock absorber which offers the possibility to adjust the compression at high and low damping speeds.

Overview

This market segment is unquestionably the most interesting in terms of number of sales and growth prospects. Motorbikes with a sporty attitude that deliver solid touring pleasure. In other words, a bike like the Tre-K 1130. It’s the Benelli that vaunts racing performance, the comfort of a tourer, flagship components and dynamic qualities of an indefatigable traveller. For 2012, Tre-K 1130 comes in a new colour combination on a white base, in addition to the well known combination of grey and silver.

Benelli QattroNove X On Road

It is available from January 2012 at all Benelli dealers.

The frame, core of the chassis designed in Pesaro, is demountable in keeping with Benelli tradition: the front section with tubular steel trellis is completed by aluminium alloy cast plates to give birth to a truly sporty frame. The swingarm, too, has a trellis structure, with a large cam that allows effortless and quick adjustment of the final drive chain. The suspensions boast quality: the Marzocchi gold anodized fork with large diameter (50 mm) sleeves is fully adjustable in compression, rebound and spring preload to adapt its response to the style of the rider, the type of road and varying loads it is carrying.

The mono shock absorber even offers the possibility to adjust the compression at high and low damping speeds, a feature usually reserved for sport models. It also operates on a progressive leverage that optimizes the response of the rear suspension (with 133 mm travel) and guarantees traction and comfort at every instant.

The front end is mounted with two 320 mm-diameter discs with Brembo 4-piston calipers and radial attachment; the rear, by contrast, mounts a 240 mm-diameter disc and a twin-piston caliper. The 17” wheels accommodate wide-sectioned tyres: 120/70-ZR17 at the front, 180/55-ZR17 (but with the possibility of mounting a 190/50) at rear to guarantee the utmost in sporty performance.

The classic engine gets applause for the inline three cylinders, here in a full displacement of 1,131 cm3. To note are the data on maximum power and torque, respectively 123.4 CV (92 kW) at 9000 rpm and 112 Nm (11.4 kgm) at 5000 rpm. Wet sump lubrication, electronic injection, overhead double camshaft timing system, 4 valves per cylinder, clutch with hydraulic control, 6-speed gearbox are the marks of an engine-transmission unit that is well-tested, modern and reliable.

The seat is wide and comfortable even on long trips, where the ergonomic features count more than the padding. Air protection is taken care of by the contoured plexiglass and compact headlight fairing designed to protect the rider and passenger from whirlwind and turbulence.

For the Tre-K 1130, Benelli makes available non-standard accessories that are truly unique, including the Tom Tom navigation system, frame sliders, racing filler cap in ergal, motorbike covers and rigid and semi-rigid panniers.
