An exotic car race attraction that was held at the Walt Disney World ended up with car crash that left one person dead.
According to police reports, a Lamborghini which was taking part in the event left one of the driver of the car with minor injuries while the passenger died.

The event makes it possible for racecar fans be it drivers or even fans that have luxurious cars such as Lamborghini, Ferraris or even Porsches taking part.
It is not yet clear on whether or not the person who was behind the wheel was a track employee or a customer.

The passenger in the Lamborghini was a 36-year old man from Davenport, Iowa. That said the names of those who were involved in the accident were not immediately released by the authorities.
It is believed the driver of the Lamborghini lost control of the car and ended up crashing it, the Florida Highway Patrol said. The whole event occurred during the Exotic Driving Experience.
When approached for comment a Disney spokeswoman declined to comment on the incidence.

The event it itself has always been praised for the fact that it is very safe, in fact the website of Exotic Driving Experience indicates that before drivers embark on the race they are usually accompanied by a professional driving instructor in the passenger seat. The event sees participants pay up to $400 so as to drive five to six laps around the track.

The track is operated by Petty Holdings and it offered a statement stating that, "On behalf of everyone in the organization, it is with a very heavy heart that we extend our deepest sympathies to those involved in today's tragic accident in Orlando."
