Honda (UK) is gearing up for this year’s Motorcycle Live two-wheel extravaganza at the NEC (19-27 November) with some great action-packed activities in store to ensure visitors really get the full Honda experience.

Activities include the first UK unveiling of Honda’s new-for-2012 models, star rider and celebrity appearances, visitor interactive entertainment, ‘My First Licence’ for children, race team ‘workshops’ with BSB Championship winning team HM Plant Honda, the Honda Racing Bug live action model car racing game and a free prize draw for visitors to be in with a chance of winning ‘A Honda For everything You Do’.

Honda’s presence at Motorcycle Live over the nine days of the event includes five areas within Hall 3. Entering the ‘Honda House’ via the garage, visitors can see and experience a whole range of Honda products from the stylish CR-Z car to the latest ATV, garden equipment, portable generators and marine products, and also be in with a chance of winning a range of Honda products to include a car, motorcycle, lawnmower, ATV, generator and inflatable boat, by entering the ‘Win A Honda For Everything You Do’ free prize draw.

Moving through the garage of the Honda House, Honda’s great and latest range of merchandise, clothing and accessories is also available to try for size and buy. From trendy t-shirts, fleeces, hoodies, jackets, leathers and textile bike gear, to retro bike cups and saucers and Honda branded items, there’s something for everyone.

The Honda House garden plays host to the unique and ever popular ‘My First Licence’, and every day, children aged between 5 and 11, can experience riding a bike around a specially constructed street scene to experience the fun of two wheels, learn about road safety and, come away with their very own printed mock licence.

The main motorcycle display stand will host the current and new-for-2012 range of bikes, to include the all-new and stylish Crosstourer, luxurious Goldwing, updated CBR1000RR Fireblade, plus a number of new models not yet announced! Further highlights include scheduled rider and celebrity appearances, race bikes on display, the popular Honda Racing café, technical helpdesk and a range of visitor involved entertainment activities.

You can also find out more about how some of the UK’s leading emergency services – including the AA, Police, Fire Brigade and SERV Blood Runners use Honda motorcycles in their daily work throughout the UK. Honda’s highly acclaimed track and off-road experience partners, the Ron Haslam Race School and Mick Extance Off-Road Experience will further be on hand to discuss individual or group opportunities, and visitors can also sign up to the forthcoming winter and 2012 dates, or why not purchase a Honda Experience gift voucher as the perfect Christmas present.

Honda’s innovative EV-Neo electric concept scooter, currently undergoing a test and evaluation programme in Barcelona, will also be on show in the UK for the first time, on the Honda stand. However, visitors to Motorcycle Live can also experience Honda’s developing electric technology for themselves by having a go on a concept EV-Neo in the ‘Get On’ experience area.

The Honda village is completed with the presence of Honda (UK) Racing. With an impressive 21 year history, Honda (UK) Racing will be present with this year’s HM Plant Honda Fireblade British Superbike and its 2011 championship winning British Touring Car (BTCC) Honda Civic. Visitors can explore Honda’s ‘race garage’, meet the riders and drivers, learn more about life in a race team and take part in a wheel change challenge.

Honda riders and key Honda personnel will also be taking part in various chat shows and activities on the ‘Main Stage’ throughout the duration of the event and, a wide range of Honda bikes will also be available to test ride out on the roads. Some of Honda’s great small capacity geared machines and scooters will further be available in the ‘Get On’ indoor arena, where people can learn more about life on two wheels and ‘have a go’ with free taster rides. A full timetable of all Honda’s scheduled activity will be available on the Honda stand at Motorcycle Live.

Whether you enjoy riding on the road, track or off-road, for leisure or for work, on a small capacity scooter or a bigger engine tourer for the open road, Honda Motorcycles offers a range of bikes for every purpose and level of riding experience and looks forward to welcoming visitors to the Honda village at Motorcycle Live.
