2004 Moto Guzzi V11 Le Mans
The traditional lines of the V11 are clad in a sporting half-fairing which increases aerodynamic protection and extends the range of action of a bike developed for fast touring. Powerful and versatile, the four-stroke from Mandello del Lario is fun to ride on mixed routes, stable and safe on the motorway and comfortable on longer trips.
The qualities are the same as ever, enhanced by technological modernisation which has improved the performance of both engine and mechanics during the last two years to the point of achieving an ideal balance. The 2004 model, in fact, is not significantly different from the previous year’s version. The output of the evergreen electronic injection 90 V-Twin is full-bodied even at low revs and grows progressively thanks to the control unit’s special fuel injection mapping.
The three-way catalytic converter with Lambda sensor reduces emissions to a minimum, bringing the bike in line with Euro 2 standards.
The ride is always gratifying, with predictable behaviour and immediate response to the rider’s commands. Road holding and comfort are guaranteed by a reliable suspension system with Marzocchi upside-down fork with 43 mm inners and Sachs shock absorber with Cantilever swinging fork swingarm. The suspension can be completely regulated to adapt the bike to your personal riding style and load.
Braking is decisive and powerful, thanks to the action of the Brembo Oro Series front disc brake operated by a calliper with four opposed pistons, while at the back there is a single 282 mm disc operated by a calliper with two opposed pistons.
