Intro

The 2012 Harley-Davidson Dyna Glide Street Bob is a flash back to the 1940s Bobber style street cruiser. Although this bike looks like a thing of the past it is not in any way other than in period style. It takes more than just luck to combine top of the line parts and technology with all of the greatest things we loved from the past…it takes Harley-Davidson to do it this well.

Harley-Davidson took the Dyna Glide Street Bob in every detail to manufacture the most comfortable ride possible. The mini ape hanger style handlebars provide a comfortable laidback position perfect for cruising. The single bobber style saddle has been scrutinized over and over to make sure vintage meets 2012.

This motorcycle has been fitted for a shorter driver with easy reach in the leg to the foot pegs and throughout the driver triangle. Comfort has not sacrificed while getting that perfect look. The Dyna Glide Street Bob’s fender has been chopped and the newest technology has been used to reduce light blur and give the highest visibility.

No need to worry if you turned off your turn signal anymore. New technology in the turn signals determines through angle and speed when it’s appropriate to automatically shut them off for you. With so much attention to detail and the perfect look of the Harley-Davidson there is only one way to finish it, make sure all the technology is hidden.

All of the lights are internally housed throughout the motorcycle so all you see is pure power and beauty.

The 2012 Dyna Glide Street Bob has a 1584cc, four-stroke, overhead valve (OHV), V twin engine with black powder-coated cylinders and heads. It is Air-cooled, electric start, and has an electronic sequential port fuel injection (ESPFI) system. It is a manual six-speed and utilizes low revolutions per minute for those cruising rides. Harley-Davidson uses Engine Idle Temperature Management System (EITMS) technology to add to the comfort of the driver.

This technology cuts the rear cylinder off while the bike is in idle so the driver is not enduing the heat from the engine. Both front and rear brakes are hydraulic. A front telescopic fork helps you glide over the bumps of the road while dual steel, twin-sided swing arm shock absorbers are in the rear. They come with adjustable spring pre-load that is easily adjusted with a wrench to be customized to your preference.

Custom fit. Power. Beautiful 1940s vintage Style. Technology. I think.
