Enduring rivalry if we compare from Honda and Yamaha MotoGP to mass product. Variant superbike this year for both perform minor change that is claimed to improve performance over the previous year compared products. Who is superior ?

YZF – R1 first time technology has been adopted that of the YZR – M1 MotoGP .

Honda CBR1000RR present the first time in 2004 is a continuation of the CBR900RR sportbike which is claimed as the best Honda ever made so far .

Performance

Yamaha’s crossplane technology crankcase taken from YZR – M1. capacity 998cc liquid – cooled 4 – stroke DOHC. 12.7:1 compression engine spitting out 182 hp at 10.500rpm power with 111Nm of torque at 10,200 rpm with a top speed 295km/jam..

For the fuel intake. R1 uses the YCC MotoGP technology – T ( Yamaha Chip Controlled Throttle ) to set the spark timing to burn the amount of fuel into the combustion chamber which improves the bottom and middle rounds. There’s also YCC – I ( Yamaha Chip Controlled Intake ) which regulate fuel intake .

Same CBR1000RR YZF – R1 with a capacity of 999.8cc with 177hp power at 10,500 rpm dantorsi 112Nm at 8500 rpm with a top speed 271km/jam .

Fuel injection system uses a system of Programmed Dual Sequential Fuel Injection where the fuel setting makes a 12.3:1 compression engine that affect sound smoother and more responsive .

Handling

YZF – R1 uses deltabox magnesium chassis is more rigid and stable wheelbase and cut to optimize the center of gravity and handling capabilities. CBR1000RR uses twin spar aluminum frame combined with HESD ( Honda Electronic Steering Dampener ) to dampen vibration at high speed steering. Dissat motor runs slower then the sensor will send a signal to the ECU to reduce barriers so that the steering wheel HESD be light. and when driven at high speed then the sensor will send a signal to the ECU to memerinta HESD inhibit steering wheel movements. CBR1000RR use dual radial – mounted four- piston calipers with full floating 320mm front wheel disck in. semengtara a single caliper rear uses 220mm discs plus ABS optional .

YZF – R1 using radial – mount forged 6 – piston calipers with dual 310mm discs. rear wheel using a single piston 220mm .
