Original Schebler DLX 108 Carburetor Body, for 1935 to 1939 74 Indian Chief Models, Very Rare! Description This auction is for an original Schebler Deluxe 108 carburetor body. According to my research, it’s for 1935 to 1939 74 Indian Chief 74 Models. The body is in overall good condition and is nice and clean.
This is a potmetal die cast body not brass as you can see. I have never seen another one of these in my years in the business. This auction for the bare carburetor body only.
I’ve seen photos of one of these complete and it looks like they use mostly the same common Linkert parts so someone can get this together again. The markings are very crisp and sharp, they look excellent. Most of the threads look good except for one manifold screw mounting hole which was stripped and has an oversized thread. I think someone can make a little sleeve and get it back to the correct thread. There are no cracks on this body.
The bottom bowl lock nut threads are pretty decent. I actually was going to this body as a model once to make some nice castings to make replicas. I halted my replica carburetor manufacturing efforts a few years back and will be auctioning off my stuff. Winning bidder please note that I gladly also ship this Priority Mail and you can select that on the shipping options if you prefer instead of UPS ground. For the budget minded, I can also ship standard Parcel Post in the U.S.

Please note that I have sold some larger items such as wheel rims fenders that exceeded the US Postal international size limits of overall combined length girth of 79 for countries like Australia, Thailand and a few other places. Only other option would be UPS or US Postal GXG which are very expensive and most winning bidders might not opt for that method.
