WardsAuto editors have just released 2015’s top cars with the best interior design. The list was created by assessing the interior of 42 vehicles that are all new or have been revamped so as to fit in the U.S. market.

According to the WardsAuto, “each vehicle is scored based on materials, ergonomics, safety, comfort, value and fit-and-finish.”

Last year’s WardsAuto list of cars with the best interior design featured cars which ranged from $24,000 to $372,000 price wise. The $24k car was a Kia Soul and the $372k price range was for Rolls-Royce Wraith. That said, this year’s list is a bit different given that the selection tops out at a price of $65,000 which is the price of a Mercedes-Benz C400.

Drew Winter, WardsAuto Editor-In-Chief, said that, “It’s important that great interiors be available in every class of vehicle, not just luxury models that most consumers will never be able to afford.”

“In this year’s competition, we saw a lot of evidence that automakers are thinking creatively about interiors and putting a lot of design horsepower into not just luxury vehicles, but pickups, minivans and family sedans. And they are investing more in high-quality trim materials, electronic features and other details that will surprise and delight shoppers,” he added.
