2010 Harley-Davidson Tri Glide Ultra Classic
The 2010 Harley-Davidson Tri Glide Ultra Classic is intended for riders who are looking for long-haul convenience and comfort. Although this Harley is not traditionally what people think of when they think of Harley . the company has still infused the technology that they use on their flagship bikes into this bike . For example, the Tri Glide utilizes the V-Twin engine found in other popular Harley models.
The Tri Glide Ultra Classic’s engine is powder-coated black and comes equipped with chrome covers. The Ultra Classic’s exhaust is a chrome 2-1-2 dual exhaust with tapered mufflers. Sitting at the front of the bike is a bat-wing, fork mounted fairing with a clear Lexan windshield. The air deflectors on the bike have smoked Lexan and are fairing mounted. They are also adjustable.
The lower fairings have an integral storage compartment and they are vented and removable. The fuel tank console is chrome and low profile.

The electronic speedometer and tachometer, fuel, voltage, oil pressure, and ambient air temperature gauges are located on the fairing. An 80-watt, four speaker Harman/Kardon Advanced Audio System with CD/MP3 player and CB/Intercom comes standard. The Ultra Classic’s seat is a two-up Ultra Classic Electra Glide with stitching that is one piece. Passenger backrest and arm rests, cruise control, and an injection molded hard Tour-Pak with soft luggage liners completes the features that come standard on the Tri Glide Ultra Classic .
The engine on the 2010 Harley-Davidson Tri Glide Ultra Classic is the air-cooled, Twin Cam 103. The valves are pushrod-operated, overhead valves with hydraulic self-adjusting lifters. There are two valves per cylinder. The displacement on the engine is 103 cubic inches.
The compression ratio is 9.6:1. The fuel system on the bike is Harley’s Electronic Sequential Port Fuel Injection. The air cleaner is paper and washable.
The lubrication system is pressurized, dry-sump with oil cooler. The clutch is a wet, multi plate. The transmission is Harley’s 6-speed Cruise Drive.
The chassis on the Tri Guide Ultra Classic is a mild steel frame with a square-section backbone with twin downtubes. The swingarm is mild steel. It has rectangular tube sections with plate junctions and is MIG welded. The front forks of the bike are 41.3 mm telescopic and are triple-circuit damping. The rear shocks are air-adjustable.
The wheels are black, 7-spoke cast aluminum.
The brake calipers on the Tri Glide Ultra Classic are 32 mm, 4 piston fixed front with 31.75 mm single piston floating rear. The rotors are patented fixed front and dual fixed rear. The Tri Glide Ultra Classic produces 101 ft. lbs. of torque at 3500 rpm.
The fuel economy is 33 city and 48 highway.
The battery in the Ultra Classic is a 12 volt that is sealed and maintenance-free. The battery charge is a three-phase. The headlamp is halogen and produces a 55-watt low beam and a 60-watt high beam.
Indicator lamps flash low oil pressure, engine diagnostics, low fuel warning etc. The dimensions of the bike are 105.80 inches in length, 54.30 inches in overall width, and 59.30 inches in overall height. Ground clearance is 4.70 inches.
Rake is 26 degrees and fork angle is 32 degrees. The Ultra Glide uses Harley-Davidson Series Dunlop tires that are bias black wall in front and radial black wall in the rear.
Fuel capacity for the bike is 6 gallons, oil capacity is 4 quarts, and transmission capacity is 1 quart. Color options include Vivid Black, Flame Blue Pearl, and Red Hot Sunglo. The only two-tone color available is Flame Blue Pearl/ Brilliant Silver Pearl.
