2011 Bajaj KTM Duke: The Most Anticipated Bike in India

Bajaj KTM Duke 125 is the most anticipated ride in India. KTM will be manufacturing the ride with its Indian partner Bajaj. This 125cc Duke cues to the bigger 690cc and 900cc Duke bikes.

In Indian it will surly surpass sales expectation set by the manufacturer.

Bajaj KTM Duke 125 will be with a fuel injecting 125cc engine. With 125cc on the displacement, KTM Duke 125 is subjected keep 15 bhp handy all the time. 15 bhp from a 125cc Duke bike means lots of fun.

In 2011 the whole two wheel commuting is going to experience a change with the invasion of the Duke 125. This 125cc Duke is said to be produced by the same set of engineers those responsible for 690cc and 990cc Duke models.  Being small in size than its family members this 125cc ride is subject to move in most of the over crowded Indian cities.

  Currently there is no other bike present in India with so many technological advanced specifications, especially in the 125cc segment. With 6 speed gear box, chain drive and typical KTM styling, the Duke 125 will be surly the most wanted ride in the country.

This Bajaj KTM Duke 125 in India will be with all high end features. For shedding speed the ride uses Brembo disc units for front and rear. Being a 125cc powersport model the ride has 31.9 inch seat height.

The kind of ride height will be an issue for many Indians, but ride ensures a wheelie every time it takes off due to its light weight. Like other Duke models this Indian version will be carrying company signature of orange color and loud graphics.

With so much of features the question arises what will be the price tag. Many Indians will find it very difficult to pay a hefty price for a 125cc ride.

In recent time Bajaj and KTM has together have decided to bring a 200cc version of the Duke. Bajaj KTM Duke 200 was spotted in Pune. This 200cc motorcycle will be generating 20ps of power.

We can expect the Bajaj KTM Duke 200 in India to be priced any thing above Rs 1.5 lacs. Recently India is seeing many performance bikes with smaller displacement to include Yamaha YZF R15, Kawasaki Ninja and soon to be available Honda CBR 250R. These days India is accepting these performance oriented models and we can only weight for these KTM models to be launched in India. if things run well for both the companies, Bajaj and KTM, we will see these models with the dealers in 2011.
