NAZA Group Of Companies Group Chief Operating Officer Dato’ SM Zulkifli SM Amin together with Ducati Asia Pacific Sales Manager Davide De Lorenzi was on-hand to unveil the CKD Diavel and revealed the new starting price of just RM109,888 for it.

They explained that the CKD Diavel is built at their Thailand factory to take advantage of the Asean tax duties which results in a lower retail price.

“Just because it’s built in Thailand, it doesn’t mean that the quality is lower. The quality is the same as we have technicians from Italy to make sure quality control is kept at a high level.” said Davide De Lorenzi.

Held at The Library Pub in Mid Valley Megamall to portray the Ducati lifestyle, the event also introduced 5 Monster Art customization schemes for their Ducati Monster 795.

Next Bike (Ducati Malaysia) Sdn Bhd General Manager Juan Chow Wee said that the Monster 795 has always been offered only in Red but with this new scheme, owners who wants a different look can simply head to a Ducati centre and switch to their chosen design.

“If you want your Monster to look like Valentino Rossi’s bike, it’ll only take about ten minutes to do the switch. It’s like changing an old Nokia phone cover.” said Juan.

The Ducati Monster 795 with the customization scheme is priced at RM61,900 but for RM65,900 the customization scheme also includes a Termignoni Exhaust system for an enhanced performance.
