Leading two-wheeler manufacturer HMSI (Honda Motorcycles and Scooter India) launched another stunning model Honda CB Twister in Indian auto market in entry level segment. Last year Honda has stormed Indian motorcycle market with the launch of Honda CBF Stunner in mid segment and now with the launch of Honda CB Twister, company shows that it eyes on entry level bike market.
The company has launched three variants of CB Twister which equipped with the same capacity engine but they differ in terms of kick start, self start and disc brake availability. The base variant comes without disc brake and self start option, second variant comes with self start option but disc brake is not available while third and top end variant of the bike is loaded with both self start and disc brake option.
The company official said that it will be available in showrooms from February 2010 onwards. The company has also not yet announced the exact Honda CB Twister price but the company official indicates that its all three variants might be priced in the range of Rs 42,000 to Rs 48,000. He added that the prices of all variants of Honda CB Twister will be announced at Delhi Auto Expo which is scheduled for first week of January 2010.

Honda CB Twister is available with three variants but its all three variants are powered by the same capacity engine. Its all three variants are loaded with the same capacity power-plant which is a 109cc, Four Stroke, Air-Cooled, SI petrol engine with four speed manual transmission gearbox (with 1-Down, 3-Up gearshift pattern). This power-plant delivers high engine power and performance and it can produce maximum power of 9bhp at 8000rpm with 9Nm of maximum torque at 6000rpm.
The mileage of all three variants of Honda CB Twister is also good and company claims that one can achieve 70kmpl mileage with this bike. The engine of Honda CB Twister is also satisfies the BS III (Bharat Stage III) emission norms which will be in effect from April 2010.
