2013 Indian Chief Vintage –

Limited Edition

Congratulations to Harold E. Donald on being the first to purchase a 2013 Limited Edition Indian Chief Vintage!

Harold is a land developer who started riding several years ago. His appreciation for the ‘vintage’ style is just one of the many qualities of an Indian that appeal to Harold. Owning an Indian motorcycle was high on Harold’s bucket list and his desire became a reality in 2003 when Harold bought his first Indian, a 2003 Gilroy!

He has since owned three Indians and is currently the proud owner of a 2013 Limited Edition Chief Vintage! Harold frequently rides country roads in New Jersey and Pennsylvania, but mostly he’s shore bound! Harold’s passion for horse power doesn’t stop here….he’s also an equestrian rider when he’s not on his Vintage.

Question:

“As we near the end of Autumn and get ready for the off-season, what are the top 3 storage tips for the winter?”

Answer:

Indian Chief Bomber Limited Edition

Our technicians highly recommend winterizing your bike by adding a fuel stabilizer to a full tank of fuel. Without a stabilizer, the fuel deteriorates and can damage your bike’s fuel system.

Also, to save your battery and compensate for the constant draw, we suggest connecting a battery tender.

QuickTIP of the MONTH

When cleaning your Bottle Cap 105 Engine on any 2009 – 2013 Indian Chief, if you accidentally hit the QUICK DISCONNECT on the fuel tank, chances are the bike won’t start! Don’t get caught by surprise! Check that the Quick Disconnect is secured to the bottom of the fuel tank during inspection.

We hope our QA helps with some of your questions. Please keep sending them in. If your question benefits others, we will include it in our monthly newsletter.

As always, our parts and service department personnel are here to make all your repairs go smoothly. Our goal is to provide you, our customer, with Excellent Customer Service the first time, every time!

Okay, so maybe you don’t have time to winterize your bike! Let us do the work for you. We’ll include a FREE oil change while your bike is in storage with us (November to March availability).

Call today to reserve your spot! 908-964-0707.

BACK IN TIME.

Robert Tucceri Sr. on his 1940 Indian ‘Scout 45’

Rob senior’s son, Bob Tucceri II, frequently reminisces about how proud his Dad was to own an early model Indian motorcycle. To this day, Bob Jr. and his family marvel at Bob Sr.’s most memorable ride on his Indian, from Piscataway, NJ to Colorado! Though geographically a rather straight line, it’s all of 1800 miles worth of road time.

Anthony Tucceri, who is a striking resemblance to his grandfather Bob Sr. shares in his Grand Dad’s pride for the history and the beauty of Indian motorcycles. The art of Indian runs deep in the Tucceri family!
