NASCAR Chase Weekend takes place in mid-September. To kick it off, the organizers have organized a celebration, “Chase Fest.” that will take place on Thursday, September 17th from 2 to 9 pm CT in Chicago. Namely, a “Chase Fest” is a street party with free food, drinks and more for the fans.

The festival will be attended by all 16 Chase racers in the Challenge Round.  They will be signing autographs and taking pictures with fans. The party will be brightened with a free concert from Grammy-nominated rock band, 3 Doors Down and Chicago band Suburban Cowboys.

Dinosaur BBQ and Coors Light will also be offering free food and drinks to attendees.

But there is much more. The celebration will feature the Toyota Ferris Wheel and the NASCAR on NBC Sports Bumper Cars.  Sprint will be providing activations plus the display of the Sprint Cup Series championship trophy.

The exact location of Chase Fest is on Weed Street, between Fremont and Kingsbury streets; northwest of the downtown Chicago area.

NASCAR Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer, Steve Phelps said, “The days leading into the Chase for the NASCAR Sprint Cup have become a signature moment in our sport.  With the support of Toyota, Sprint and Chicagoland Speedway, we expect to deliver an engaging fan experience that builds anticipation for the most competitive stretch of our season.”

It truly will be an experience that fans will not easily forget, and it is expected to be a success and a great start to the much-anticipated NASCAR Chase Weekend.

NASCAR Chase Weekend will have its opening race on September 20th at Chicagoland Speedway in Joliet, Illinois.  Before this, fans can enjoy the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race on Friday 18th.  On Saturday the 19th, the NASCAR Xfinity series will hit the track.  It will certainly be an exciting weekend for all.
